President Donald Trump visited the United Kingdom on Monday, rubbing shoulders with the royal family and getting embroiled in the contentious Brexit deal. Trump’s son-in-law, Jared Kushner, pointedly declined, in a much-publicized interview with Axios, to say if the president’s “birtherism” conspiracy theory about President Barack Obama was racist. After another mass shooting with Friday's attack in Virginia Beach that left 12 people dead, some key 2020 Democratic presidential candidates once again called for greater gun safety legislation.
