A congressional showdown has taken Washington by storm this week, as Democrats on the House Judiciary Committee voted to hold Attorney General William Barr in contempt of Congress for ignoring their subpoena for the unredacted Mueller report and its underlying evidence. Meanwhile, the Republican-led Senate Intelligence Committee shocked many when it subpoenaed Donald Trump Jr. over previous testimony he gave regarding Russia, and when he knew what about the Trump Tower Moscow project.
These developments come on the tail of a New York Times report on the president's taxes, showing he lost more than $1 billion between 1985 and 1994. Mitt Romney.
