Social media is churning with the news that Bernie Sanders has endorsed Hillary Clinton, effectively ending the Vermont senator’s bid for the presidency.
Despite news of a possible endorsement coming as early as last week, Facebook groups devoted to Sanders still reacted with shock and anger today. ‘BERNIE OR BUST’, which boasts of following of over 23,000 Facebook users, was covered in memorials to the Sanders campaign:
Some Bernie supporters have jumped ship, and are instead voicing their support for the Green Party's presumptive candidate, Jill Stein:

Still others on the page are condemning criticism for Sanders, and instead are choosing to stand by the Senator’s platform of affordable education and reliable government:
So what comes next for Sanders supporters? Until the Democratic Convention in Philadelphia next week, Hillary Clinton is still not the official Democratic candidate. The hashtag #BernieOrBust continues to trend strongly on Twitter, and some supporters say they won’t budge on their candidate — opting instead to write Sanders in.
