Boston mayor-elect Marty Walsh is already weighing in on the future of casinos in nearby towns.
East Boston residents voted against a casino at Suffolk Downs, leaving the track's operators to focus on Revere, who overwhelmingly voted in favor of the $1 billion casino.
Walsh said he suspects Revere could face some hurdles with the property line.
"I don't know if they have logistical problems with the way that the land-- it looks like an "S" that goes through the spot, so they may have logistical problems," he said.
Walsh also said he will talk with Mayor Tom Menino about the potential impact of Steve Wynn's proposal to build a casino in Everett, which runs along the city's Charlestown neighborhood.
