Serial entrepreneur Paul English is launching a new product: Moonbeam, an app to help users sift through the huge number of podcasts out there. He joined Jim Braude on Greater Boston to talk about it, and how it fits into his career-long journey of finding tech solutions to problems.
Inspired by TikTok, Moonbeam immediately plays content when a user opens the app. “It’s human-curated clips, the best moments of the best podcasts,” English said. As a user scrolls, machine learning predicts what they will like next. English said he has discovered numerous new podcasts himself, including WNYC’s “Dolly Parton's America.”
