He also spoke on hopes for bipartisanship in the Biden administration. Dionne is a columnist for The Washington Post and a senior fellow at The Brookings Institution. Danielle Allen offered her views on how the country can come back from the Jan. 6 Capitol siege. She also argued for universal mandatory voter participation and discussed her potential run for Massachusetts governor. Allen is a professor of government at Harvard University, where she directs the Edmond J. Safra Center for Ethics.

He also offered some predictions on how impeachment proceedings might play out among Republicans. Flake is a former Republican U.S. senator from Arizona. His latest book is “ Conscience Of A Conservative: A Rejection Of Destructive Politics And Return To Principle.”
