Andrea Cabral returned to Boston Public Radio on Thursday for her weekly edition of “Law and Order.” The conversation with the former Suffolk County Sheriff and Secretary of Public Safety came hours after federal prosecutors in New York charged former Trump advisor Steve Bannon with charges of fraud related to a border wall crowdfunding campaign. Bannon and three others are accused of using hundreds of thousands of dollars from the We Build the Wall fund for personal expenses.
"It’s not at all surprising if you know anything about Steve Bannon,” Cabral said. “Not at all surprising that they would dupe Trump supporters or Trump donors because I think they’ve always seen them, basically, as dupes.”
