Ali Noorani spoke with Boston Public Radio on Tuesday about an NPR/Ipsos poll that shows voters rank a candidates' stance on immigration as a low priority, compared to issues like COVID-19 and racial justice.

"For immigration to be that low in terms of priorities for voters going into this election is really bad news for Trump, because it had been such an animating factor in favor of Trump in 2016."

Ali Noorani is Executive Director of the National Immigration Forum, his latest book is There Goes the Neighborhood: How Communities Overcome Prejudice and Meet the Challenge of American Immigration.
