Speaking Friday on Boston Public Radio, Media maven Sue O’Connell reflected on a recent address from Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez to members of Congress. The representative's speech came in response to derogatory insults made against her by Rep. Ted Yoho of Florida.
"I think for everyone looking for some homeschooling content, that if you have any control over your teenagers or young adults or middle schoolers … you should sit them in front of the Youtube clip, the full speech,” she said, “so that they understand that they can neither treat people like that, nor should they tolerate being treated like that."
