Television expert Bob Thompson spoke with Boston Public Radio on Monday to review the "One World: Together At Home" program last Saturday.

"I thought it was one of the finest entertainment moments of the coronavirus era to date," he said. "I think this particular instance is perfect for this particular kind of programming."

The program was hard to miss, Thompson said, but those who did miss it can watch online.

"Not only was it on NBC, ABC, and CBS, not only was it streaming, but it was on Bravo and E! and TV Land and VH1 and Comedy Central and on and on on, this was a true simulcast."

Bob Thompson is a founding director of the Bleier Center for Television and Popular Culture and a trustee professor of television and popular culture at Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University.
