Senator Bernie Sanders suspended his 2020 presidential campaign Wednesday, freeing up the Democratic nomination for Joe Biden.

Chuck Todd, host of "Meet the Press Daily" on MSNBC, spoke with Boston Public Radio on Thursday about President Trump's 2020 election prospects.

"The idea of Donald Trump was an unknown four years ago, and if you were somebody who wanted to shake up the system, you figured maybe Trump would gum up the works for four years," he said. "There was a rationale to it, that makes a lot less sense today, so I don't think those voters will come this time, I don't think they show up."
