Tech writer Andy Ihnatko joined Boston Public Radio on Monday to speak about innovative technology showcased at CES 2020 this past week.
"This year, for the second year in the row, foldable screens became a bigger talk, because now they're becoming a part of practical products," Ihnatko said. "For instance, Lenovo is coming out with this new laptop that folds in half like a book, so it's very easy to tote around, but when it unfolds, it becomes a 17 inch screen that runs Windows 10."
Ihnatko also highlighted the efficiency of Google's version of a laptop, the Chromebook.
"Chromebook, which is Google's operating system, can run at a much much less powerful, less expensive, less power-hungry piece of hardware," he said. "Chromebooks have been taking education by storm because [teachers and students] need $200 and $300 indestructible notebooks."
