House Republicans have released their report on the impeachment inquiry into President Donald Trump, a day before the House Judiciary Committee is set to take the reins of the investigation.
The report, written by Reps. Devin Nunes, Jim Jordan and Michael McCaul, reiterates many Republicans' long-held stance that Trump did not commit an impeachable offense and that the Democrats' push for impeachment "is an orchestrated campaign to upend our political system."
Democrats on the House Intelligence Committee, led by Rep. Adam Schiff, will release their report Tuesday, which is expected to lay out a case for impeachment based on days of public testimony in front of the committee last month. Democrats say the evidence is clear that Trump abused his office by asking a foreign government to investigate a political rival.
