CNN's John King joined Boston Public Radio on Tuesday for a politics roundup and to discuss the percentage of Americans who favor the impeachment of President Donald Trump.

"If you're the Democrats, you might be a little disappointed that you didn't move the bar because right before the hearings, in our poll, 50 percent of Americans said the president should be impeached and removed from office. And after the two weeks of hearings, 50 percent of Americans said the president should be impeached and removed from office," King said.

"That's not good news for Donald Trump to have half the country thinking you should be impeached and be removed, but if you're the Democrats, you did not move the bar, you did not win over more people during those two weeks," he said.

John King is CNN’s chief National Correspondent and anchor of Inside Politics, which you can catch Sunday mornings at 8 a.m. and weekdays at noon.
