The public phase of the impeachment inquiry is moving full speed ahead, with eight witnesses lined up to testify before investigators and the American people this week. The testimonies follow last week’s accounts from ambassador William Taylor and his aide David Holmes, which further corroborated claims of President Donald Trump withholding aid to Ukraine in return for investigations that would benefit him politically. The inquiry has also heated up following Trump’s Twitter attacks on diplomat Marie Yovanovitch.

To discuss, Jim Braude was joined by Boston City Councilor Lydia Edwards and former assistant U.S. attorney Dan Small, now a partner at Holland & Knight.
