On Thursday, journalist Ronan Farrow joined Boston Public Radio to discuss his new book "Catch and Kill: Lies, Spies, and a Conspiracy to Protect Predators," which was out Oct. 15. In the book, Farrow recounts how he came to break the story that Harvey Weinstein sexually assaulted multiple women throughout his career. Farrow also goes into extensive detail about how Weinstein utilized his extensive connections throughout the media industry to deter Farrow from publishing the story.
The book has generated some controversy due to allegations Farrow makes that his former employer, NBC News, did not want to run the story. NBC has denied the allegation, and claims Farrow did not have strong enough evidence to merit airing his story at the time he submitted it to them.
