Boston Globe travel writer Christopher Muther joined Boston Public Radio on Tuesday to talk about the Flixbus, a new service that shuttles riders between Boston and New York City for $5 each way.

"Their whole shtick is that they're trying to get people who normally wouldn't go on the bus to go on the bus," Muther said. "They're saying these are nice new buses, they have leather seats, more room, you can plug your computers in, reserve seats — so there's some advantages to it."
