Bob Thompson joined Boston Public Radio to discuss CNN’s decision not to air two attack ads by President Trump. CNN issued a statement saying that the ads, which asserted unsubstantiated claims about former Vice President Joe Biden and derided several CNN staffers, failed to meet the network's advertising standards.
“I think part of it is CNN doesn’t like its people being called out on these ads, and they say, 'Well, we don’t have to play them,’" Thompson said.
Thompson also reviewed "Living Undocumented" and previewed “El Camino,” the sequel to "Breaking Bad."
