For years, Sen. Elizabeth Warren has been dogged by questions about her ethnic heritage — specifically, her claim that she has Native American ancestry and whether that may have led to favorable treatment from schools and employers. But Warren’s attempt to put that question to rest this week only seemed to provoke additional media scrutiny.
