New Hampshire voters handed a primary win Tuesday to Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders, who was closely followed by former South Bend, Indiana, mayor Pete Buttigieg and, in a surprise upset, Minnesota Senator Amy Klobuchar in third.
Meanwhile, many began to criticize one Democratic presidential candidate who was not on the ballot that day, former New York City mayor Michael Bloomberg, for comments he made in 2015 while defending his much-maligned ‘stop-and-frisk’ policing policy.
On the Republican side of things, questions were raised about whether President Trump personally requested that the Department of Justice reverse course after federal prosecutors sought a harsh sentence for his convicted ally, Roger Stone.
