Is Electability The Only Thing That Democratic Voters Want?
The Democratic field for 2020 currently has 10 official members, but polls indicate that several people leading the pack have not even officially declared their candidacy: Joe Biden, Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren. All three politicians are older than the other candidates, and each comes with a different kind of political baggage that the Democratic base may find less acceptable than in years past. Meanwhile, some voters believe than the only thing that matters is electability and beating President Donald Trump.
