National Intelligence Director Dan Coats published the annual "Worldwide Threat Assessment" Tuesday, which directly contradicted President Donald Trump's own stances on a range of matters, including his claims about the ISIS threat level, Iran’s nuclear progress, Russian interference in 2016 election, and what he claims is a "need" for a southern border wall. The statement adds to a long list of instances in which the president has made claims divorced from reality and disowned by experts on matters ranging from immigration to national security to climate change.
