Thursday is Opening Day at Fenway Park and for the first time in nearly a year, fans will be in the stands to watch the Red Sox take on the Baltimore Orioles.

This year's Opening Day is going to look different, but one mainstay of the stadium will be in place and ready to usher in this year's season.

Fenway Park organist Josh Kantor has been playing music for fans and teams since 2003.

Last year, when fans were not allowed into Fenway for the Sox's condensed season, Kantor took to Facebook and create 'Seventh Inning Stretch'.

In the daily live events, Josh would play music requests from fans on his organ in his living room. He and his wife Reverend Mary Eaton would also have guests on from time to time. Kantor says it became a virtual community.

"And it just felt like - we refer to it as a respite, it was sort of the respite that we needed every day to keep ourselves going," said Kantor.

Now with the season starting, Kantor says he's looking forward to being back at work and taking requests from those watching the games.

Thursday is also a big day for the North End, where patio season begins.

We heard from Phillip Frattaroli, managing partner of the Filmark Hospitality Group, which owns a handful of restaurants in the greater Boston area, including three in the North End. Frattaroli says he and his family are looking forward to outdoor dining this year after a long winter.
