Voting rights advocates have sounded the alarm since President Donald Trump said last week that his public opposition to funding for the U.S. Postal Service was rooted in his opposition to mail-in voting. Several attorneys general, including Massachusetts’ Maura Healey, are now considering lawsuits over the situation, and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is calling the House back into session to vote on a postal funding bill in the coming days.
