Somerville Mayor Joseph Curtatone has again postponed Somerville's Phase 3 reopening, as COVID-19 cases appear to be on the rise across the state.
Curtatone joined Boston Public Radio on Monday to outline how the city is pausing reopening progress, even as he acknowledged the importance of safely reopening schools in September in some capacity, if at all possible.
We are watching as the virus rages and businesses are shut back down in states that ignored clear warnings that they were opening too quickly. We are also watching state and local data head in the wrong direction. 1/
