It’s the end of another era in Boston media as longtime WCVB anchor Randy Price plans to sign off later this month after nearly four decades in the Boston media industry.

Over the course of his career, Price has anchored at all three of Boston’s traditional network-affiliated stations: Boston’s CBS station WBZ, former NBC station WHDH and WCVB, which is affiliated with ABC News. He announced Wednesday that May 20 will be his last day on the air.

"I was very fortunate to have a great place to work, our program had phenomenal success, and that means a lot in our business," he said as he looked back on his career while speaking with Emily Rooney on Friday.
