Today on In It Together we took a deep look at some vulnerable populations in the state and how institutions designed to house them are also taking steps to protect them from the coronavirus. First, WGBH News' All Things Considered anchor Arun Rath spoke with two directors from an assisted living facility on how they're protecting older adults and how those outside their communities can help comfort to the elderly from afar. Then, we heard what Massachusetts state prisons and jails are — and are not doing — to protect inmates from infection.
