It’s been more than five months since Jeffrey Epstein died in a New York jail cell where he was awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges. But several major institutions are still grappling today with their ties to him.
Among them is MIT, where calls for president Rafael Reif to step down have intensified following the release of an independent report about how much officials under Reif knew of Epstein’s wrongdoings as they accepted donations from him.
