The band The Fever Breakers joined Boston Public Radio on Thursday to premiere their latest song about hip dysplasia, called "I’m a Hippy."
The Fever Breakers is comprised of songwriter Dr. Gleeson Rebello, a pediatric orthopedic Surgeon at Massachusetts General Hospital, singer John Ventura, an implant and tissue inventory specialist at Mass General and Matt Girard, a musician and sound engineer.
The band originated in the basement of Massachusetts General Hospital. Their songs are directed at social causes like bullying and global warming and their motto is, "Making the world reflect, one song at a time."
