After an 81-year-old man drove into a gas station in Quincy Tuesday night, leaving six people with minor injuries, some have begun asking: Why are older drivers not re-tested for road safety? Current law does not require people to re-take drivers’ tests after their initial one, meaning a senior citizen driver has not taken a test in 50 years or more.
