They call it the “fairground of the future,” and next week, tens of thousands of people are expected to take part in the fourth annual HUBweek festival, at locations around Boston, Cambridge and Somerville. The event brings together scientists, artists, activists and more to discuss the issues and innovations of the next generation. In the spirit of its theme, an inclusive and equitable future, several of this year’s events will be free and open to the public.
