Tomorrow is the 30th annual Boston Taste of the Nation event to help end childhood hunger. Sixty local restaurants will team up to offer their best dishes, beer and wine — with all the proceeds benefiting No Kid Hungry, a national campaign run by the nonprofit Share Our Strength.

According to the group, more than 1 in 6 children in the U.S. face hunger, and more than 13 million live in “food insecure homes,” meaning they don’t regularly have enough food to eat.

Matt Jennings, the chef and owner of Townsman, and Andy Husbands, the chef and owner of The Smoke Shop, will both be serving food at Taste of the Nation. They joined Jim Braude to discuss.
