Editor’s Note: On the January 26 edition of BPR’s Emily’s List, Emily Rooney mentioned the name, phone number and address of an individual whose name repeatedly came up on Emily’s caller ID as part of a “senior benefits scam.” After speaking with this individual, we’ve learned that her phone number was coopted so as to disguise the real phone number of the scammer. We removed the audio reference to this person.
