Former Obama campaign director Michael Blake ( @MrMikeBlake) and Carly Fiorina's former deputy campaign manager Sarah Isgur Flores ( @whignewtons), joined Jim to talk political fallout after Comey's announcement last week.
Flores said that the announcement will affect the outcome of down ballot races, but not the final election outcome. Blake disagreed, and said that because of early voting, Clinton is ahead. He said that it is definitely not impacting what matters.
Blake said that Clinton has acknowledged her mistake in using a private email server, and is moving on. There is nothing to indicate it will have an impact on Clinton being the next president, he said. Flores said that Clinton has no one to blame but herself. She added that all of this fallout traces back to a poor decision she made, to use a private email server.
