> Cape Cod, Southern Massachusetts, and the Rhode Island shore bore the brunt of the storm with 8 to 12 inches in some places. WCAI radio reported that because the storm moved into the area a bit earlier than expected and before the highest tides, flooding was contained. Meteorologist Phil Burt of  CapeCodWeather.net called it, "A classic southern New England Cape Cod snowstorm." There wer more than 100 power outages, but most were repaired by morning.
