Last night’s pre-season game against The Giants in Foxboro felt more like a championship game given fan excitement over Thursday’s ruling.

The Patriots pro shop at Gillette stadium was busy in advance of Thursday’s face off against the new york giants; Fans were buying up number 12 jerseys…no need for any “Free Brady” shirts any more. Most agreed the ongoing deflate gate saga was ridiculous from the start.

“I think it should’ve been held in salem b/c it was nothing but a witch hunt,” says one fan.

Another quips “Apparently the evidence wasn’t strong enough because it got overturned…”

Kristy Armijo says the NFL needs to focus on players accused of drug use and domestic violence.

“I think there are a lot more important issues going on in the nil that they could suspend people for,” she says.

While some may be focused on the legal fallout of the Deflate-gate decision, fans here were just looking for a final preseason win against New York.

9-year-old Kian Greeley was on hand when the stadium rocks as Number 12 hits the field. “I think it’s a really cool thing he’s gonna be playing for the first half,” says Greeley.

Kian’s dad Eddie sums it up best for Patriots Nation…

“I think if anything else all the NFL did was help fuel another Super Bowl run.”

Fans hope for another ring, but count Deflategate as a different kind of Patriots win.
