When most beachgoers hear the word "shark," they run screaming in the other direction. But not Elliot Sudal. 

The 27-year-old has made a name for himself tagging sharks off the shores of Nantucket in the name of helping the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, or NOAA, manage the Atlantic's shark population. He joined Boston Public Radio to explain what motivates him to tango with these foreboding oceanic beasts.
