Evan Falchuk, head of the United Independent Party, announced yesterday he would be
joining forces with anti-tax activists Yes on 1
to pass a ballot question blocking taxpayer funds from going toward the 2024 Olympic Games. Yes on 1 spearheaded the ballot question for the
gas tax indexing repeal
last year—Falchuk and his party, on the other hand, publicly supported preserving the indexing. Falchuk joined Boston Public Radio with Jim Braude and Margery Eagan to discuss his Olympic fight and the challenges of working with former political foes.
