Lamine Touré is a drummer and singer originally from Senegal.  Touré comes from a storied lineage of drummers, and after bringing his talents to the Boston area he formed Group Saloum. Group Saloum is an Afro-pop outfit that plays Senegalese mbalax music — a blend of jazz, Latin music, rock, and traditional drumming and dance.
