New England Patriots fans are keenly aware that their team is just one victory away from another trip to the Superbowl.
So what, exactly, could stand between a win for the New England Patriots when they face off against the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday? We asked Kerry Byrne, a writer for SportsIllustrated.com.
Byrne says the Colts' biggest weapon is none other third-year quarter back Andrew Luck, who topped the list as the number one pick in the 2012 draft.
"He’s put up some incredible numbers, some record-setting numbers. He’s led the Colts back to legitimacy and to contention in the wake of losing Payton Manning a few years ago," said Byrne.
The big question, though, is whether Luck can take down the Tom Brady, whose Patriots have won by an average of 26 points per game this season.
“This game is definitely set up for the Patriots to win and capture what will be a record sixth AFC title; the sixth trip to the Super Bowl for Tom Brady’s Patriots. No other quarterback has ever been to six Superbowls,” Byrne added.
