After three days, six sessions, and more than 1,000 prospective jurors, this week's final session of jury selection in the case of Boston Marathon bombing suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev has been completed.
Among the most heavily reported topics relating to this week's procedures was Tsarnaev's appearance in court.
Boston College Law School professor Robert Bloom says Tsarnaev's disheveled look — including his unshaven beard — was most likely deliberate.
"He has a very experienced team of lawyers representing him and they want him to appear as a disheveled 19- to 20-year-old college student who probably just woke up out of bed and made it to class," said Bloom.
