For 20 years, we watched Tom Menino grow as a Mayor, just as we saw Boston grow as a city.
With his passing Thursday morning, it will be difficult to think of Boston without Mayor Menino.
Look around the city and you see his imprint and his legacy everywhere.
President Obama said Menino’s legacy lives on in every neighborhood, every school, and every community he helped make a safer, better place to live.
Other elected officials said Menino understood people’s lives, their hopes & dreams…that he threw himself into the job of Mayor with enthusiasm & intensity.
