Taped by the WGBH Forum Network, historian David F. Wood visited the Old South Meeting House to detail the life and work of 19th-century cabinetmaker William Monroe.

This final chapter of the Old South Meeting House’s Paul Revere Memorial Association Lecture Series on colonial Massachusetts furniture offers not only thorough testimony, but also myriad up-close images of the pristine work done by Monroe, whom Wood asserts was a master of everything from clocks to pencils.
