The opening of the National 9/11 Memorial and Museum last month sparked a strong reaction. Much of the uproar has centered on the gift shop and the idea that no one should profit from such a terrible event. Teresa Mathai’s husband, Joseph, was in New York City on business on September 11 and died in the North Tower of the World Trade Center. Mathai has visited the museum more than once and shared her experience.
