The Boston Mayoral candidate endorsements continue to pour in this week.
John Connolly said this morning that he is accepting support from the pastors of two prominent Boston churches: Pastor William Dickerson, of the Greater Love Tabernacle, and Pastor Miniard Culpepper, of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Dorchester.
Connolly said he met with community leaders at the Twelfth Baptist Church in Roxbury.
"This is the first minister endorsement that I know of. I can't speak for them obviously but this is the first that I know of," Connolly said.
After the meeting, one Dorchester voter who attended, Eustace Payne, said he's still undecided.
"In terms of what he says about the neighborhoods and disparity between one neighborhood and the other in Boston, I'm a lifelong Bostonian and I really appreciate what Mayor Menino did and really appreciate somebody who's going to continue that work. So right now I'm still listening," Payne said.
