Officials now estimate that 264 people were treated for injuries related to the Marathon bombings. Those injuries range from hearing problems – to the loss of one or more limbs.  About 50 people are still hospitalized – 41 here in Boston.  And so far, five people have been transferred to Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital – a number that is expected to rise. For those in rehabilitation for amputations, the next few months will bring new realities – but specialists say – not necessarily diminished lives.
