As the city reeled from multiple bomb blasts, the Prudential Center emptied.
Huntington Ave has been cleared, except for police. Only police vehicles and ambulances are on the street. The police have blocked the entrance to the Prudential Center parking lot.
The upscale Mandarin Oriental hotel has been evacuated, and ambulances are lined up outside the Marriott.
"People walking from side streets to Huntington are all being sent back," according to one witness. "Even bicyclists are being turned away by the police."
Police appeared to be streaming into the area around the Marriott hotel.
No one is being allowed to walk on Huntington Ave. Police are sending away pedestrians.
The three bomb blasts - two on Boylston Street and one at the John F. Kennedy Library - have left two people dead and more than twenty injured.
