It's been about about a month since the state's ban on evictions expired.

We heard from landlord Paulette Houston, who owns a two-family building in Roxbury that she also lives in. Paulette says because she only owns one unit, she's not qualified for coronavirus aid as a business owner. The building needs repairs and she's been dipping into her retirement savings to stay afloat.

Then, we spoke with Larry Seamans, president of the organization FamilyAid Boston, about the help they've been providing homeless families and those evicted — or about to be evicted — during the pandemic.
