A Brooks Brothers clothing factory in Haverill, Mass., will lay off 400 employees, Boston Globe business columnist Shirley Leung told Boston Public Radio on Monday, due to the company filing for bankruptcy earlier this month. "Brooks Brothers announced earlier they're going to close all U.S. factories, including the one in Haverill," Leung said. "The issue is that those workers will not be paid any severance, whereas other factory workers in other markets will be paid severance, but just not these 400 employees at the factory."
