Host Arun Rath spoke with Dr. Nahid Bhadelia, an infectious disease expert and the medical director of Special Pathogens Unit at Boston University School of Medicine, about the news of the day, including the largest 24-hour jump in the number of coronavirus cases in Massachusetts that we've seen so far in this pandemic. The number of cases is now over 1,000.
We also heard from a kindergarten and first grade teacher from Revere about the challenges in developing at home lesson plans and activities.
Finally, we heard some good news for thousands of graduating college seniors who soon will be looking for new jobs after graduating in May. According to one Boston University lecturer, the job market after this pandemic will be wide open with opportunity for them and others looking to change careers.
